1 sachet Colman's Sausage Casserole Recipe Mix
450g (1lb) sausages
1 medium sized onion, sliced
115g (4oz) mushrooms, sliced
425ml (3/4 pint) of cold water
How to Cook:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4 (170°C for fan assisted).
2. Fry the sausages until brown and then place them in an ovenproof dish with the onions and mushrooms.
3. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the dish.
4. Stir thoroughly, cover and cook for 1 hour.
5. Ensure piping hot and serve immediately with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Why Not Try...

Follow the steps but fry 55g (2oz) of chopped smoked bacon with the sausages and instead of water, use a 400g can of chopped tomatoes and a 400g can of drained cannellini beans.

450g Sausages
1 Onion
115g Mushrooms

1. Preheat oven to 180°C, 170°C fan assisted, Gas mark 4.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausages until browned. Add the onions and fry for 3-4 minutes until softened. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish with the mushrooms.
3. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the casserole.
4. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour. Enjoy with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

450g sausages
2 medium onions, sliced

1 red pepper, diced (optional)
300ml cold water

Directions:
Fry It
1. Fry the sausages with the oil in a pan until browned. Add the onions and fry for 4 mins. Place in an ovenproof dish with the mushrooms and pepper.
Season It
2. Mix the Colman's seasoning with water and add to the dish.
Cook It
3. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hr. Oven 180°C, fan assisted 170°C, Gas 4.
