Desiccated for pure ease of use, our coconut makes an exquisite addition to both sweet and savoury dishes.
We started with a liking for sandals, tie-dyed T-Shirts and a belief that food should only be grown as nature intended. Convinced that there must be people who think the same way, we set out to find them. Some people called us crazy but that didn't stop us. Try Crazy Jack's Coconut Milk Ingredients: (makes 200ml coconut milk) 200g Crazy Jack Desiccated Coconut 300ml hot water
1. Put the desiccated coconut into a bowl and pour over the hot water. 2. Leave to soak for at least 10 minutes, and allow it to cool thoroughly. 3. Strain the coconut through a clean muslin cloth (or a sieve) and squeeze it dry. 4. Top Tip: Add the coconut milk to a curry for extra richness, or blend with a banana for a truly tropical smoothie.
