For our Cabernet Sauvignon, we turned to the Sonoma Country region that's most renowned for the grape, Alexander Valley. In the warm, sun-drenched days and cool, crisp nights, our Cabernet Sauvignon ripens slowly, developing its signature rich, complex character and classic fruit notes of blackberry, blueberry and plum.
With vineyards established in Sonoma Country over 125 years ago, Frei Brothers Sonoma Reserve is part of the fabric of Sonoma Country's celebrated farming and winemaking culture. We craft our acclaimed wines by selecting the right grapes grown in the right places within Sonoma Country's premier growing regions, allowing our winemakers to showcase the pure varietal character of each grape.

Regional Information
At 22 miles in length running North-South with 15,000 acres of vineyards, Sonoma County's Alexander Valley appellation lies east of the Dry Creek Valley. It encompasses the sandy plain of the Russian River, as well as the slopes of the mountains separating Alexander Valley from Napa Valley.
