TO OVEN COOK. 180°C/400°F/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 6.
Do not cook from frozen. Remove all packaging. Preheat oven to 180°C/400°F/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 6. Brush the chicken with oil and season with salt and pepper (optional). To seal the meat, preheat a frying pan over a high heat and carefully place the chicken in the dry pan for 2 minutes, turn and cook for a further 1 minute. Transfer to an ovenproof tray and cook in the preheated oven for a further 15-20 minutes, turning twice. Always ensure the food is cooked throughout before serving. Ensure juices run clear, if pink cook a little longer and test again. Do not reheat.Once cooked, place on a warm dish. Let it rest for 20 minutes before carving for best results.
