Each 250g pouch contains enough chocolate flakes for around 7 serves - easy to reseal and keep fresh for the next one. For the best velvet-smooth serve, add 35g of flakes - about 6 heaped teaspoons - to Hotel Chocolat's Velvetiser (their in-home hot chocolate machine) with 220ml of dairy or plant milk. Then press the button and let the Velvetiser work its magic for a zero-fuss pour every time.
Or just heat your choice of milk on the hob until steam starts to rise. Whisk in your chocolate flakes off the heat, then return just long enough to melt them. Be gentle and don't boil your milk to preserve its perfect flavour.

Preparation and Usage
Made at home in your Velvetiser: 1. Pour 220ml milk* into your Velvetiser. 2. Sprinkle in 6 heaped teaspoons (35g drinking chocolate. 3. Press the button and let the Velvetiser work its magic.
Made at home on your hob: These instructions are a guide only. Per serving: 6 heaped teaspoons (35g) drinking chocolate, 220ml milk. 1. Heat the milk* in a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring gently with a whisk until hot but not boiling (you should see steam rising). 2. Remove from the hob and add the drinking chocolate to the milk*. 3. Bring back to the hob on a medium heat and gently whisk until all the chocolate has melted. Take care not to boil as this will impair the flavour. 4. Serve. *Dairy milk or plant milk
