An approachable Australian classic, Jacobs Creek Shiraz is a fruit-forward and round Shiraz with a beautiful peppery finish. Best enjoyed with charcuterie boards, pasta Bolognese, steak and chips, roasted vegetables and dark chocolate. A great wine to enjoy on its own or with food, making it perfect for any occasion. Best served at 15-18C.
Spicy red berry with subtle mocha and vanilla oak influence on the nose. Palate showcases
soft red berry and rich plum with a spicy cedar finish. This wine is a great example of the approachable style of Jacob’s Creek Classic wines.

In 1847, a young Bavarian immigrant named Johann Gramp planted the Barossa Valley's first commercial Vineyard on the banks of Jacob's Creek. From the vine to the bottle, the mission for Jacob's Creek is simply to improve the quality of each vintage Fruit was harvested from a variety of regions within South Eastern Australia that have traditionally provided the correct balance of flavour for the blend. Maturation under controlled conditions followed, with a final selection tasting held to select wines for the final blend. The resultant Jacob's Creek Shiraz is rich and strong in character.
Preparation and Usage
Ideal with char grilled steak.
Mid crimson red. The nose shows ripe plum and spicy fruitcake aromas, with hints of currant, chocolate and well-handled cedary oak. The palate is medium bodied in structure, with ripe plum fruit flavours, good mid palate fruit sweetness and rich yet soft, velvety Shiraz tannins through to the finish
