Recipe: Seared Tuna Poke Bowl serves 4
Prep time: 15 mins Cooking time: 5 mins
Ingredients 150 g red cabbage 2 carrots 2 small avocados 2 spring onions 1 red onion 200 g fresh tuna 2 tsp. sesame oil 1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds 200 g cooked rice 1 lemon 4 tsp. Kikkoman Poke Sauce 2 tsp. olive oil 2 tsp. Kikkoman Seasoning for Sushi Rice
Method Wash, trim and peel the vegetables. Cut the tuna into 1 cm cubes. Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a pan. Add the tuna and stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, add half of the sesame seeds and combine.
Mix the rice with the Seasoning for Sushi Rice and divide among 4 bowls. Place the vegetables and the tuna on top. Garnish with grated lemon zest and the remaining sesame seeds.
Combine Kikkoman Poke Sauce with 4 tsp olive oil, the remaining sesame oil and the lemon juice. Use as a dressing for the salad.
