Preparation and Usage
For the perfect rice
It's as easy as
1 Take 75g rice (per person), rinse in running water and place in a large pan of boiling water.
2 Stir and bring back to the boil, keeping uncovered. Reduce to a rolling simmer for a approx. 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
3 Drain water, cover and leave to stand for 3 minutes then lightly fork through the grains and serve.

Easy cook long grain rice
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep tightly closed and consume within the Best Before End date.

8 ounces cooked chicken chopped
2 eggs (more if desired)
1/2 cup green peas
1 medium onion, diced
1 green onion, diced
Seasonings (add according to taste):
Light Soy Sauce
Oil for stir-frying
500g Laila Easy cook rice.
Beat the eggs lightly with chopsticks, add a dash of salt (Add a bit of oyster sauce if desired).
Chop the chicken meat and dice the onion and green onion.
Heat wok and add oil. When oil is ready, pour 1/2 of the egg mixture into the wok and cook over medium heat, turning over once. Cook the other half the same way. Cut the egg into thin strips, and save for later.
Stir-fry the onion on high heat for a few moments, remove and set aside. Do the same for the green peas.
Rinse the rice under cold running water 2 to 3 times. Drain water and place rice into boiling water. Make sure the liquid is 2.5in above the level of the rice. Stir and return the water to rolling simmer.
Cook uncovered for 12-14 minutes until tender. Drain water and sieve with boiling water then.
Add oil, turn down the heat to medium and stir-fry the rice. Add the egg mixture, soy sauce, salt, pepper and oyster sauce, chicken mixture and combine thoroughly.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on low heat.
