Tasting Notes
Perfected at each stage of its making, Cuvée Rosé is acknowledged for its consistency and its high quality. The maceration – lasting from 48 to 72 hours – enables us to obtain the most subtile and rich expression of Pinot Noir. Elegant, with colour changing naturally from a pretty raspberry hue to salmon pink, it has a precise nose of extraordinary freshness and a wide range of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry and a fresh and sharp attack for this supple and rounded wine. On the palate, it offers the sensation of plunging into a basket of freshly picked red berries.
Serving Suggestions
The Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is a delicious aperitif and, thanks to its aromatic character, it also allows various food and wine pairings. It matches well with raw fishes (marinated red mullets and tartare of tuna), grilled prawns, fine charcuterie (such as Italian prosciutto) duck, lamb and creamy cheeses such Chaource. The Cuvée Rosé is also an extraordinary match for red fruit desserts. The more daring will try it with Asian ¿ or Indian ¿ cuisine.

History
The House of Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot and took the name Vve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eugène Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business. Eugénie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939. Fired by a passion for champagne, a respect for traditional values and, most importantly, for people, Bernard de Nonancourt inspired Laurent-Perrier with his independent spirit and creative audacity. He established privileged working relationships with the grape growers and cleverly combined innovation and tradition. He created the signature Laurent-Perrier style of freshness, finesse and elegance and developed a unique range of champagnes which are today exported to more than 160 countries worldwide. His legacy lives on today through his daughters.
Regional Information
Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier combines a vinous character with great freshness. It can be savoured on its own, and also with many bold food and wine pairings. Tender and ethereal, its bouquet of freshly-picked berry fruits easily surprises, constituting a very pleasant appetiser. Served at a temperature of 8-10°C, it delivers up its rich aromas and pairs with many foods, from starters to dessert. It also goes wonderfully with foie gras canapés topped with red currants, or wafer-thin slivers of finest pata negra ham, and many other dishes, including marinated raw fish and braised guineafowl. It works perfectly at home too, with soft, creamy cheeses such as Chaource, Mussy-sur-Seine, and Langres, and with desserts such as a berry fruit salad. The more daring marry it with Asian or subcontinent cuisine.

Vinification Details
Cuvée Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir blended from ten different Crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims including the finest Crus from the famous Côte de Bouzy Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours sur Marne. The grapes from carefully selected plots are sorted and destemmed before vatting. The maceration lasting from 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest helps the extraction of the colour and allows us to obtain unequalled aromas, revealing all the richness of the best Crus of Pinot Noir. The wine is then cellar-aged for a minimum of five years.
