Le Conserve della Nonna Red Pesto Sauce is a superior vegan sun-dried tomato pesto that remains faithful to its traditional recipe. There are no substitutions with inferior ingredients and there are no compromising ingredients you would not expect to see in a traditional basil pesto. 

The sauce has the intense tomato flavour you would expect with a creaminess derived from the generous level of pine kernels. The pesto is made in the capital of gastronomy, the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and only perfectly ripe, seasonal, high quality ingredients are selected  using methods which respect the environment. 

Traditional pine kernels used are seeds not nuts and the lactic acid is vegetable derived.

The possibilities are endless! Stir through La Buona Vita Gluten Free Pasta or Ciemme Gluten Free Gnocchi, mix into rice, use as a pizza topping, smear onto bruschetta, add to mashed potato or transform your vegetables with a spoonful of pesto!


No cooking required. Use one tablespoon per serving. Can be used hot or cold.
