Red French Wine

The wines of the Beaujolais are some of the most approachable, delicate, beautifully scented and sensually flavoured of red wines. As delightful to the palate as their countryside is to the eyes, Beaujolais can only come from one of the most picturesque 'quartiers' of France: home-grown in the valleys and rolling hills folded between Mâcon and Lyon in central eastern France.
Bright red hues with soft purple undertones dance in the glass; youthfull juicy, supple fruit aromas open to a palate of crushed red berries with some underlying peppery floral notes of peonies and iris.
