Chunks of venison seasoned with salt, pepper and thyme and slow cooked for tenderness and succulence. Finished with a red wine, shallot and bacon sauce. Delicious served with creamy mashed potato and steamed greens. Oven cooks for 40 minutes. Serves 4.

Keep Refrigerated; Product Previously Frozen; Suitable for Home Freezing

Oven cook - From Chilled. Needs Cooking
Electric 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6, 40 mins
- Remove all packaging
- Preheat oven
- Place sauce sachets to one side
- Place venison and juices into foil tray and cover with foil
- Cook for 25 mins
- Remove from oven, drain juices into a jug
- Add 3 tbsp of retained juices to sauce and pour over venison
- Cook for 15 mins
Do not reheat.

Simply finish off at home and serve with lashings of rich red wine, shallot and bacon sauce.

Suitable for freezing.

Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. This product may have been previously frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.
