Slow-cooked, bone-in duck legs, flavoured with a sea salt and black pepper rub and served with a port and orange sauce. Gluten free. Bake in the oven. Two per pack.

Keep Refrigerated; Suitable for Home Freezing

Oven cook - From Chilled. Needs cooking
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and place sachet to one side. Transfer duck legs to foil tray provided and discard any juices. Place on middle shelf of oven. Cook for 35 mins. Remove from oven and discard any juices. Pour contents of sauce sachet over the duck legs. Cook for a further 10 mins.
Electric 220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas 7, 45 mins
Remove from oven. Stir any remaining sauce in foil and pour over duck legs to serve.
Do not reheat.

Storage:
For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Suitable for freezing. This product may have been previously frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.

Safety Warning:
Contain bones. This product must be cooked before consumption.

This product is sous vide (i.e. this product is cooked slowly in a sealed pouch for several hours). A fat layer beneath the skin is essential to give succulence to the duck. The level will vary according to the time of the year. Due to the nature of the slow cooking process ensure all bones are removed when shredding product.
