Seasoned, slow-cooked bone-in lamb shanks with a sachet of red wine and rosemary sauce. Gluten free. Cook in the oven for 40 minutes, add the sauce and cook for another ten minutes. Two per pack.

For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Suitable for freezing. This product may have been previously frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.
Instructions
Oven cook - From Chilled. Needs Cooking Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and place sauce sachet to one side. Transfer the shanks and juices into the foil tray provided. Place on middle shelf of oven. Cook for 40 mins. Baste halfway through cooking. Remove from oven and drain juices into a jug. Pour contents of sauce sachet over the lamb shanks along with 2 tbsp of the drained juices. Cook for a further 10 mins. Electric 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 50 Mins Remove from oven, baste the shanks with the sauce and rest for 2-3 mins. Remove shanks from the tray. Stir any remaining sauce in foil tray and pour over lamb shanks to serve. Do not reheat.
Preparation and Usage
Perfect with dauphinoise or shredded in a puff pastry pie and so much more.
This product must be cooked before consumption. This product has been slow cooked for tenderness, therefore fat and juices may be visible in the pack. This is natural and will add flavour and succulence during home cooking.
