Our Ocado Beef Rump steak is carefully selected and matured slowly over 21 days to deliver a succulent, tender and richly flavoured steak. The rump steak is a firm family favourite.

We mature all of our prime steak cuts for a minimum of 21 days a succulent and tender eat.

Ocado works closely with our producers & processors to ensure the highest of quality. All Ocado Beef is sourced from Farm Assured farms in the UK & Ireland, reared to high standards of animal welfare, husbandry and with good environmental practices. Ocado beef only comes from prime Beef animals.

Keep refrigerated 0 to +5ºC.
Once opened, use immediately.

Do not exceed the Use By date.

Suitable for freezing. Freeze on or before Use By date. Use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not refreeze.

Instructions

Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods.

Pan Fry: High heat
Rare: 2-3 mins
Medium: 3-6 mins

Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. Preheat pan on high. Lightly oil and season steak. Place into dry pan. Turn halfway through cooking. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
