Our Ocado Beef Brisket is a richly flavoured beef cut. This traditionally slow cooked joint of beef is ideal for cooking on a low temperature which will deliver a tender and deliciously flavoured joint.
Ocado works closely with our producers & processors to ensure the highest of quality. All Ocado Beef is sourced from Farm Assured farms in the UK & Ireland, reared to high standards of animal welfare, husbandry and with good environmental practices. Ocado beef only comes from prime Beef animals.
Serves 3 to 5 people.
Each 1kg of raw beef will provide around 5 servings of 120g beef roasted then trimmed of fat.

Keep refrigerated between -2ºC to +4ºC. Once opened, use immediately.
Do not exceed the Use By date.
Suitable
for freezing. Freeze on or before the Use By date. Use within 1 month.
Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Instructions
Cooking Instructions: Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods.
Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Oven Oven 160ºC Fan 140ºC Gas Mark 3
Allow joint to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking and preheat the oven. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a casserole dish over a high heat. Add diced vegetables and soften. Place joint on top of the vegetables. Add stock, water or wine to cover 1/2 the joint. Bring to boil. Add liquid and place into the oven for 4 hours. Stock, water or wine may be topped up during cooking. Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with gravy.
