With a creamy background skin and a dense red stripe, Royal Gala apples have a honey-like sweetness with a subtle floral note, balanced with a hint of tartness. They have a crisp and juicy white flesh, offering a firm bite every time.
As a medium apple counts as 1 of your 5 a day, they're a perfect grab-and-go snack. You can dice into salads, pair with cheeses like brie, cheddar or gorgonzola, add to a charcuterie board and bake into pies, tarts, cakes, crumbles and muffins to produce dazzling desserts.
