Why have we removed the Fine to Flush logo? When we launched these products, the information at the time confirmed that they were able to be flushed down the toilet after use. However, we've now removed this advice based on new research which shows that flushable wipes of all types are causing unintended consequences to our sewage systems. In line with this, we are encouraging all customers to dispose of wet wipes and moist tissues in their general household waste.
In addition, this supports the 'Bin the Wipe' campaign launched by Water UK, which aims to educate the public about the consequences of flushing wet wipes and promote responsible disposal. By advising customers to bin their wipes, we can work together to prevent blockages, protect our waterways, and contribute to the overall health of the environment.
