Our Ocado Organic chickens are reared on British farms, with the freedom to forage outdoors and an enriched environment in their shelters. They are fed a non-GM, certified Organic diet.
There may be a slight odour on opening which will quickly disappear. This is normal and does not affect the quality or flavour of the chicken.

Keep refrigerated at -2ºC to +4ºC. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 1 day.
Do not exceed the Use By date.
Suitable
for freezing. Freeze on or before the Use By date. Use within 1
month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not
re-freeze.
Instructions
Cooking Instructions: Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry. Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods.
Do not wash raw poultry.
Oven: Electric 190ºC. Fan 170ºC. Gas Mark 5.
Remove all packaging. Place the chicken on a baking tray in the centre of a preheated oven and cook for 35-40 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking and return to the oven.
Ensure that the chicken is thoroughly cooked by inserting a skewer into the thickest part of the meat. All chicken products should be cooked thoroughly until there is no pink meat and the juices run clear.
