Our Ocado Organic chickens are reared on British farms, with the freedom to forage outdoors and an enriched environment in their shelters. They are fed a non-GM, certified Organic diet.

There may be a slight odour on opening which will quickly disappear. This is normal and does not affect the quality or flavour of the chicken.

Keep refrigerated at -2ºC to +4ºC.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 1 day.

Do not exceed the Use By date.

Suitable for freezing. Freeze on or before the Use By date. Use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not re-freeze.

Instructions

Cooking Instructions:
Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry. Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods.

Do not wash raw poultry.

Oven:
Electric 190ºC.
Fan 170ºC.
Gas Mark 5.

Remove all packaging. Place the chicken on a baking tray in the centre of a preheated oven and cook for 35 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking and return to the oven.

Ensure that the chicken is thoroughly cooked by inserting a skewer into the thickest part of the meat. All chicken products should be cooked thoroughly until there is no pink meat and the juices run clear.

All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Adjust times according to your particular oven. Ensure product is piping hot before serving. Do not re-heat.
