Chef's Tip:
"For extra crispy skin, cut open the top of the bag after cooking, baste the chicken in the juices and roast uncovered for another 5-10 minutes before leaving to rest. Make sure you use the rest of the juices in your gravy afterwards!"

Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze once defrosted and consume within 1 day.


Do not remove the chicken from the bag, cook in the bag.

Oven: 200ºC / Fan 180ºC / Gas 6

Place the chicken in its bag on a baking sheet in a preheated oven. Do not pierce the bag before cooking.

With 30 minutes left to cook, remove from the oven. Open the bag carefully by slitting down the front of the bag with a knife or scissors. Take care when opening the bag as steam will escape.

Insert a skewer into the thickest part of the chicken to check that the juices run clear the product is fully cooked. If you want the chicken skin to be more golden brown baste with the cooking juices, return to the oven and cook for a further 5-10 minutes.

Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before carving.

Take extra care when removing from the oven and opening the bag as it will contain hot cooking juices.
