Panadol Actifast contains sodium bicarbonate which enables the medicine to be

The film-coated tablets can be taken on an empty stomach.
Adults, including the elderly and children aged 16 years and over, take 2
tablets with 100ml water. Take 2 tablets up to 4 times daily as required. The
dose should not be repeated more frequently than every 4 hours nor should more
than 8 tablets be taken in a 24 hour period. Children aged 12-15 years take 1
tablet with 100ml water up to 4 times daily as required. The dose should not be
repeated more frequently than every 4 hours nor should more than 4 tablets be

This is because too much paracetamol can cause delayed, serious liver damage. Contains paracetamol. Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.
