Keep chilled and consume by date on label on the back of the box. FREEZING: Alternatively freeze before Use By date. The bucatini should be cooked straight from frozen for 4-5 minutes. The carbonara and pancetta need to be defrosted before cooking.
Preparation and Usage
METHOD
1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Generously salt the water.
2. Cook the pasta in the boiling water for 3-4 minutes.
3. Whilst the pasta cooks, pan-fry the pancetta on a medium-high heat. Once crispy, transfer the pasta to the pan and toss gently to mix with the pancetta, cook for 1 further minute.
4. Turn the heat down low and take the pan off the hob. Allow the pan to rest for 1-2 minutes before adding the sauce. Take care to ensure you squeeze all the sauce from the pouch. Once added, return to the heat and warm through over the low heat. When the sauce is steaming, turn off the heat.
5. Sprinkle over the cheese. Serve immediately. Buon appetito!
