I chose to vinify this sauvignon in a traditional way to promote its freshness and an element of sweetness. I made a point of highlighting the wine's oaky notes, which bring character to this Cuvée fumé. Benjamin Tueux, Calvet winemaker.

History
Jean-Marie Calvet establishes the Calvet company in Tain l'Hermitage : (Rhone valley) in 1818. JM Calvet sets up in the heart of Bordeaux in 1823.
