Much like wine or coffee, honey has lots of naturally occurring different flavours, colours and textures. They vary depending on the country of origin and the type of flowers the bees visit. This is what makes our Rowse Taste Discoveries Honeys the perfect ingredient to sweeten your breakfast, naturally. Rowse Taste Discoveries Honeys are 100% Pure & Natural - just like nature intended: with nothing added and none of the natural goodness taken away.
Rowse Acacia Honey is made by bees that forage on the nectar of the Robinia Pseudoacacia tree, commonly known as black locust. This honey is light in colour, fruity and has a typical waxy flavour and vanilla back notes. Strength 1: Delicate & Fruity
About Rowse Honey: In 1938, our founder Tony Rowse started beekeeping in a small shed in Ewelme, Oxfordshire as a hobby and he loved it so much he formed the Rowse Honey company. Before long, Tony was sourcing honey from beekeepers all over the UK, then from all over the world. In the 1980s, we had grown so big we moved to Wallingford, Oxfordshire (close to Ewelme) and Tony handed over the reins to his son Richard. Years later, we are very proud to be the nation's favourite honey!

Recipes
Easy Chicken Korma Easy Recipe, Serves 4
Ingredients 500g chicken breast, cut into chunks 1 large onion 4 cloves garlic 2 inch piece ginger 2 big tsp ground cumin 2 big tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 big tsp garam masala chilli powder (optional) 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp Rowse Acacia Honey 50g ground almonds 100ml cream 300ml water sunflower / vegetable oil (or ghee if you can get it)
Method: Blend the onion, garlic and ginger and a dash of oil in a food processor until smooth. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large shallow saucepan, and add the pureed onion mix. Add all the spices, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chilli. Cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure they don't stick; you can add a bit of water if it starts sticking occasionally just to keep it bubbling away. This stage is the most important as it's where the flavour of the curry develops. The spices and onion will turn a lovely deeper colour and smell fantastic. Add the chicken, water and honey and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked, add the ground almonds and cook for another 2 minutes to thicken, turn heat off, add the cream, stir in and serve.
