Preparation and Usage
SALAD: The best way to enjoy the refreshing crunch of fennel is to have it raw. Shave or thinly slice the fennel bulb before tossing it into salads. Fennel works especially well with olive oil-based dressings in Mediterranean-style salads. However if you're feeling more adventurous, try them with an Asian-style sweet lime and chilli dressing.
PAN: Slice the bulbs and sauté lightly in butter or olive oil till golden and tender. Finish with fresh herbs like parsley or mint.
